In September 2011 our association was formed by a handful of law enforcement officers representing local, county, and state agencies determined to encourage and provide education, interaction, and networking between Crisis Negotiators in the State of North Carolina. We will be dedicated to the safe and successful resolution when responding to a variety of crisis incidents. The Central North Carolina Negotiator Network is a non-profit organization comprised of sworn officers and other qualified individuals who are assigned to their agency’s Crisis Negotiation Unit.  The purpose of the network is to provide resources, training, and networking opportunities to its members to further the pursuit of safely and effectively de-escalating crisis situations and essentially preserving life through communication.
